Sara created August Fields as a blog in 2009 to document the building of their family home. Over the years, August Fields has been home to the entrepreneurial endeavors by Sara and some of her children. August Fields Studio was created in 2024 by Sara, a passionate homemaker and mom of seven. With over 20 years of experience homeschooling and keeping a full household organized, it seemed natural to create a simple system to record her needlework. And so the Needlework Keeper was created!Needlepoint is a creative outlet and Sara continues to explore the depths of the art, including handpainted canvases. This is a layer of August Fields Studio that is currently a personal passion and works are created for personal gifts and collections, with the hopes to increase this endeavor to have custom works for sale.
